Teaching Adults

Ali runs a Textiles Art class on a Monday evening at Poynton community centre from 7pm - 9 pm


She teaches  Watercolours classes on Wednesdays at The  Centre in Poynton.

10am - 12pm and  1pm - 3pm.

This will run for ten weeks at a time within school term time.


Ali is also teaches  Acrylics classes on Tuesdays at St Martin's church hall, Poynton.

10am -12pm and 1pm - 3pm


She teaches Watercolours classes on Fridays at St Martin's church, Poynton.

10am - 12pm and 1 pm - 3 pm

These are run for ten weeks at a time within school terms.


Ali also runs occasional all day workshops on a Saturday at The Centre in Poynton.

Also some mid week at St Martin's

She does demonstrations and runs workshops for Art clubs and societies.


No experience is needed, but equally, she makes her classes challenging for those who are more experienced.


All classes are friendly, fun and enjoyable!




Demonstrating for Art groups & Societies

Ali has demonstrated for a number of Art societies and has had very positive feedback. She can work in many different kinds of media and offers a wide range of subjects.

She makes the demonstrations informative, colourful and exciting. Her pace is good and she is very aware of the requirements of her audience.

"Ready Steady Paint" is a new initiative (in association with the SAA)


It is a monthly subscription for 6-11 year olds


Each month they will receive a box full of quality art materaials, and two Art lessons with me, by video link.

Teaching as an Artist in Residence in schools

After 25 experience of teaching all years from Reception to Year Six in schools in London, Bradford and Stockport, high quality teaching is assured.

Ali is fully CRB checked.


Ali charges £200 per day. This does not include resources.

Children's Work

Ali is very passionate about her work in school. She is on a mission to excite children and get them to love Art as much as she does. Her aim is to make sure children notice everything around them, wherever they are. Her work is often huge to make a big impact.
